Eagle Rock - I prefer Turtle Rock.

-

Dead Blow Fish/Puffer Fish - There were 21 of them along one of the beaches. For some reason, they got upset, blew up, and washed ashore. We also saw a small octopus and bird that had died. Maybe there was something in the water.?? Poor blow fishies.

Me and Ronny walked for two days to go from the bottom of the National Park to the top via the 28 km Coastal Trail. We stayed the night at a hostel near the beach in this picture.

Whitehaven Beach - The people on this boat went for a dive around the corner and then bbq'd later that night. They were also spotted in one of my pictures a few days prior at a different island location.

Sunset on Whitehaven

Whitehaven Beach - Apparently, the finest and whitest sand in the world. Not sure? Because "they" said the same about Jervis Bay where I went several months ago for my uni fieldtrip.

Whitehaven Beach/Island - Ronny woke me at around 6 a.m. (along with the Kookaburra) so that we would be the first to walk the beach. It worked. We were the only ones in sight for an hour making the first foot prints of the day.

Star fish - Whitehave Island - We put him back in the water as he washed ashore during low tide.

Cockatoo on our balcony - These birds are everywhere in the Whitsundays and throughout Australia in many different colors and sizes.

Hamilton Island - Reef View Hotel - Day 3

WhitSunday Vacation - June 22nd - 26th 2005
Travel mate who read almost the entire vacation.

Ronny took this as we were walking home from the Nick Cave concert.

NEMO! - Ronny (the super ok diver) took this great pic of Nemo!

Shark!!! We did see over 20 sharks throughout our 11 dives, but Just Kidding about shark in this pic. The sharks we saw were harmless and rather small reef sharks, white tip & black tip.

Great Barrier Reef Diver - This guy is super o.k.
